What’s Been Happening at UTS: A Quick Update From the Last Month
Every once in a while I like to step back and share a little bit about what’s been happening inside the gym over the past few weeks.
One of the things I love about running Unlimited Training Systems is that no two months ever look exactly the same. Between client progress, new programs, workshops, and small improvements around the space, there’s always something evolving.
So if you haven’t been in recently, or you just like seeing what’s going on behind the scenes ,here’s a quick look at what the last month has looked like at UTS.
Client Wins
This is always my favorite part to share.
We’ve had a number of clients make some really meaningful progress lately , not just in numbers or weights, but in confidence, consistency, and getting back to activities they enjoy.
A few highlights from the last month:
Lora McBee showing what simple action steps done consistently well can do.
Lora M. has been crushing life in accountability coaching the last 6 months implementing new time blocking strategies, a morning and lunch meal strategy, and now working on daily walking to supplement life in the gym.
Specific strategies we used:
- Started with goal setting and time blocking her calendar to get clear on what time she really had available
- Did a full time audit to decide what she could eliminate, delegate, or make more efficient
- Built a meal rotation list for her breakfasts to cut guesswork and start consistently improving how she eats each day
- Established new priorities around movement to drive activity outside the gym and level up how split squats and hinges feel inside her program
Hameeda Boghani learning what nuance can bring when facing movement struggles.
We got to see Hameeda B shift into Semi Private training to work around some knee pain going into Ramadan and it led to a pain free trip up a VOLCANO in Guatemala!
- We moved her to Semi Private Personal Training where we could dial in programming and provide more specifics
- We rebuilt hip skills and knee tissue tolerance with graded exposure during her warmups, increased hip variability in her workouts, and lots of checkins to find the ideal total volume
- We are bridging the gap to more frequency of movement instead of more intensity
Wendy Bishop leaned in to our approach to aerobic capacity and it led to all time 5k world!
Wendy B leaned in to her last training program that had a main focus in improving aerobic capacity for running and it led to an amazing race this past weekend in her push 6k!
- We implemented a combo of two run/walk days in a progressive manner and one cross training endurance day at UTS
- We adjusted her warmups and overall approach to build more hip skills, better foot tolerance, and improved running mechanics
- She consistently hit all her run workouts over a 12 week span!
One thing we emphasize here is that progress isn’t always dramatic or overnight. Often the biggest wins come from simply stacking consistent weeks together.
And that’s exactly what many of our members have been doing.
Program Updates & What We’re Working On
Behind the scenes, we’ve been continuing to refine how our programs run so that clients get the right balance of structure and coaching support.
Some of the areas we’ve been focused on recently include:
Improving the Onboarding Process
We’ve continued refining our first two weeks for new members so they can:
- Learn how our system works
- Understand their training plan
- Build confidence before jumping fully into regular training
Those first two weeks are intentionally slower and more educational so people can feel comfortable and successful long term.
Movement Education
We’ve also been doing a deeper dive with clients around:
- Movement quality
- Understanding why exercises are chosen
- Learning how to adjust training when life, stress, or injuries show up
Our goal isn’t just to give someone a workout, it’s to help them understand their training so they can sustain it long term.
Events, Workshops & Community
Another big focus this year is creating more opportunities for education and community inside the gym.
Over the last month we’ve been working on:
- Client workshops
- Movement education sessions
- Community events
- New resources members can use outside the gym
These are meant to help people go beyond just “showing up to work out” and instead build a deeper understanding of their health and training.
Upcoming things we’re excited about:
- Monthly Movement! PICKLEBALL AT THE PARK!
- On March 25th, We have rented out courts 1 and 2 and will provide equipment from 6-7pm
- Add this event to your calendar and we will see you there.
- The First Tuesday of Every Month: Our New Staple Virtual Workshop on Fat Loss and Muscle Gain
- You can sign in by subscribing to our Google Calendar here or
- Head over to Kilo app and just book in like a normal class
- Monthly Education for Premium, Semi Private, and Long Term Members: Learn about your programs, level up your mobility, and deep dive on our favorite training concepts:

- March 19th: Why Stretching isn’t the Solution (And What We do Instead)

Resources We’ve Shared Recently
We’ve also been putting together more resources for our members — things they can reference when they’re not in the gym.
Some recent topics we’ve shared include:
- Training consistency
- Managing pain during workouts
- How to build sustainable fitness habits
- Strength training basics
- Snacking Habits and How to Course Correct
👉 We are building our client hub for these resources to be finished soon, but if you would like any of the above, just ask a coach!
A Quick Note for Anyone Thinking About Getting Started
One thing I always remind people is that the goal of training isn’t perfection — it’s consistency over time.
The best results usually come from:
- Showing up regularly
- Learning how your body responds
- Making small adjustments along the way
That’s what we try to help people do every day at UTS.
